Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 13 October 2026

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using a screen reader, people who navigate by keyboard only, people with low vision, and people with motor or cognitive impairments. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we've done

  • Semantic landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer) on every page, so assistive technology can jump between sections.
  • Visible keyboard focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields.
  • Respect for your operating system's “reduce motion” setting, which turns off non-essential animation.
  • Descriptive alternative text on photos that convey information, and empty alt text on purely decorative images.
  • Labelled form fields on our quote request form, with clear error messages if something goes wrong.
  • A mobile-friendly layout that works down to small phone screen widths.

Known limitations

We're not aware of this site being fully WCAG 2.2 AA conformant in every respect — accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-off fix. If you find anything on this site that's difficult to use with a screen reader, keyboard, or other assistive technology, please tell us (see below) and we'll look at it.

Third-party content

Some parts of the site rely on third-party services (for example, our payment provider's checkout pages). We choose reputable providers, but we don't control the accessibility of pages hosted outside triflowplumbingandheating.co.uk.
